BiographyGraham Thornicroft is Professor of Community Psychiatry, and Head of the Health Service and Population Research Department at the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London. He is a Consultant Psychiatrist working in the Lambeth Early Intervention community mental health team at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust in South, and is Director of King’s Improvement Science at King’s Health Partners. His areas of expertise include: mental health needs assessment, the development of outcome scales, cost-effectiveness evaluation of mental health treatments, reducing stigma and discrimination, the development of community-based mental health services, and global mental health. He has published 26 books and 282 peer-reviewed scientific papers.
