BiographyChris Hollis is Professor of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Nottingham and Director of the NIHR MindTech Healthcare Technology Co-operative. Chris trained in psychiatry at the Maudsley Hospital and Institute of Psychiatry, where he received an MRC Training Fellowship. His PhD was a long term follow-up study of adolescents with psychotic disorders which established the predictive validity of early diagnosis and clinical outcomes in adult life. His research interests include ADHD, Tourette syndrome, early onset schizophrenia and the development and implementation of digital technologies to support better mental health. Over the last 5 years, his research income was over £2.5 million. Chris is passionate about patient and public involvement in research and training the next generation of clinical academics. He was a member of the NICE Guideline Development Group (GDG) for ADHD and chaired the NICE Guideline for schizophrenia and psychosis in children and young people (2011-13).
